Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the 1st International Symposium on Thermal-Fluid Dynamics (ISTFD-2019), which will be held in Xi'an, China, from July 26 to 29, 2019. In the 21st Century, advanced energy and power technologies are important domains of international competition. The thermal-fluid dynamics is one of the key theoretical basis and support for the innovation and development in these technologies. In recent years and a long period of future, many governments and industrial enterprises have and will continue to show a keen interest and provide vigorous financial support in this fields. At present, the research in thermal-fluid processes involved in advanced energy and power technologies is very active and many new phenomena, new theories and new methods have been discovered and proposed. On this basis, we devote to establish an effective platform to promote communications between experts and scholars in the field of Energy, Power, Astronautics, Aeronautics, etc.
The symposium will consider thermal-fluid dynamics related topics involved in these fields, including aerodynamics, combustion, multiphase flow and heat mass transfer, particle/bubble/drop dynamics, spray and mixing, cavitation and cavitating flow, experimental methods/techniques, computation methods and engineering application research. At the symposium, recent research findings on these topics will be presented and discussed. This is an essential opportunity to improve your knowledge in what you are adept at and displace your talents.Hope you will benefit via this platform!
Xi'an is an important economic, cultural, industrial and educational center of the central-northwest region of China.
